Jordanian Meteorology: The recent rains modify the rainy season, with rates ranging between (1% - 6%)
Arab Weather - The Director of the Meteorological Department, Mr. Raed Rafid Al Khattab, stated that the amounts of rain that fell during the period (09-12) of this March were modified from the current rainy season 2021/2022 with rates ranging between (1%-6%) of the seasonal rain rate The majority of the rainfall was concentrated in the north and center of the Kingdom, where the Irbid monitoring station witnessed the highest rainfall of 28 mm, followed by the Ras Munif-Ajloun monitoring station with a total rainfall of 26.3 mm, while the Salt monitoring station recorded a total of 22.1 mm, followed by the Al-Salt monitoring station. Al-Hussein Gardens with a total rainfall of 20.2 mm, while the rainfall in the south and east of the Kingdom was weak and non-existent in some parts of it.
Al-Khattab added that the performance of the current rainy season in the Kingdom is still below its general rates for this time of the year in most regions, especially in the south and east of the Kingdom, where rain performance is considered weak until this date, while the central regions, including the central Jordan Valley and parts of the central regions, are witnessing Al Sharqiya rainy performance is good and above the average, as all of the monitoring stations (Salt, Hadayek Al Hussein, Zarqa, Aqaba) achieved their full year rain average before the end of the rainy season, which usually ends with the middle of May.
