Public Security reveals the state of roads in Jordan until ten in the evening
Arab Weather - The Public Security Directorate announced the state of roads in the Kingdom until ten o'clock in the evening today, as follows:
Capital Territory:
- Capital Regions: All main roads are cautiously passable, and secondary roads are being opened.
North Region: All main roads in the northern governorates are passable, except for Zamalia Road towards the Jordan Valley, which are closed as a precaution due to mountain collapse.
Central region:
- Al-Balqa Governorate: All main and secondary roads are traversed with caution, except for Al-Sitteen Road and Al-Serw Road, experiencing low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog
- Madaba Governorate: All main and secondary roads are passable
- Zarqa Governorate: All main and secondary roads are passable
- Al-Rusaifa District: All main and secondary roads are passable, except for Wadi Al-Qamar road, closed as a precaution due to the high water level.
Southern Province:
- Karak Governorate: All main roads are open with caution
- Tafila Governorate: All main roads are traversed with caution, except for the Sherif Al-Janoub road towards Busayrah, which is closed due to the accumulation of snow.
- Shoubak Brigade: All main roads are open with caution
- Ma'an Governorate: All main roads are open with caution
Petra Province: All major roads are open with caution
Northern, central and southern Badia regions: all roads are passable
The directorate called on citizens to take precaution and use public safety means while driving, avoid leaving homes unless absolutely necessary, stay away from low-lying areas and flood streams, and comply with the instructions of public security men deployed on the roads to guide and assist them.
She stressed the need to follow the preventive behavior in dealing with heating devices, and to call the unified emergency number (911) or the (911) application in case of needing any assistance, or report a complaint (911) in case of any need for assistance or report a complaint.
