Record rainfall in the UAE

According to the National Center of Meteorology, on Tuesday, the UAE witnessed a record rainfall of 254 millimeters in the city of Al Ain during a period of less than 24 hours. This number is considered the highest since the beginning of data recording in 1949, before the founding of the state in 1971.
