Next Sunday is an official holiday on the occasion of the Hijri New Year

Weather of Arabia - Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued, in an official statement on Monday , a decision to suspend ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and companies wholly owned by the government, on Sunday , July 7 , corresponding to 1 Muharram of the year 1446 AH , on the occasion of the Hijri New Year.

The notice excluded ministries, official departments, and institutions whose work nature requires otherwise.

In commemoration of this occasion, the Prime Minister stressed on all ministries, official departments, institutions and public bodies the need to contribute to highlighting this occasion, giving it its right, and displaying it in a way that befits it.
