Jordan | A noticeable drop in temperatures Saturday to be the coldest since the end of last winter

Arab Weather - Weather maps in the Western Weather Center indicate that a significant decrease in temperatures is expected to occur on Saturday, so that the temperatures will be the lowest since the end of last winter. It is expected that temperatures will be 4-6 degrees Celsius colder than their usual rates for this time of year, and in the capital, Amman, they will be around 14 degrees Celsius and below that over the mountainous heights.

The weather is relatively cold and mostly cloudy in general, with thunder showers of rain, God willing, especially in the north of the Kingdom, which may be heavy at times and accompanied by hail showers.

It is expected that some showers of rain will extend at intervals to some central regions. It is also expected that fog will form over high mountainous areas as a result of the passage of low clouds.

The winds are northwesterly to southwesterly, moderate in speed, and active at intervals.

A noticeable drop in night temperatures on Saturday/Sunday night

It is expected that there will be a noticeable decrease in the night temperatures, as it may reach in the capital, Amman, only 8 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be cold, humid and often cloudy in most areas.

And the opportunity remains prepared for some thunder showers of rain, God willing, in some narrow geographical areas, which may be heavy at times and be accompanied by hail showers.

And in the late hours of the night, fog is expected to form in large parts of the Kingdom, and it is not excluded that it will be dense, especially in the areas of the plains, the desert road and the area of Queen Alia International Airport.

• Staying away and not being in the stomachs of valleys, cliffs, reef streams and torrents in various regions, especially in the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea regions.
• Be aware of the low horizontal visibility as a result of fog formation.
• Consider wearing warmer clothes.
