Arab Weather - The Ministry of Environment has warned citizens not to leave the house due to the high concentration of dust and fine particles suspended in the air.

In the details, a statement of the Ministry said today, Thursday, that the surrounding air quality monitoring stations belonging to the Ministry of Environment, which are deployed in various governorates of the Kingdom, have monitored a significant increase in the instantaneous concentrations of dust and suspended particulate matter measuring 10 microns or less.

As it reached until three o'clock in the afternoon to about 2000 micrograms per cubic meter, and in the Qatraneh region it reached 3000 micrograms per cubic meter, knowing that the daily allowable rate in the Jordanian standard specifications is 120 micrograms per cubic meter,

The Ministry has called on citizens to refrain from leaving their homes except for the extreme necessity and wearing masks when exiting, especially for sensitive groups such as people who suffer from respiratory diseases such as asthma, bronchitis or children, pregnant women and the elderly.
