The Ministry of Education sets the date for the summer vacation for public and private schools

Weather of Arabia - The media spokesman for the Ministry of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masafah, said that the summer vacation for schools will start on the seventh of next July, according to the academic calendar.

Al-Masafa added that the academic calendar includes public and private schools, including the date of the beginning of the summer vacation and the beginning of the new school year.

Earlier, the Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Najwa Qabilat, confirmed that the ministry has no intention of extending the second semester.

Qabilat said that the final exams end on June 28, while the "Tawjihi" high school exams begin on the thirtieth of the same month, which does not conflict with school exams.

The tribes indicated that tenders were issued for the maintenance of school buildings and the addition of new buildings in preparation for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.

She indicated that the number of rented schools until now is 736, and that there is a programmed plan to phase out those schools.
