موقع Arabiaweather.com - أعلنت الجزائر يوم الثلاثاء وفاة رجل "يبلغ من العمر 66 عاماً" نتيجة اصابته بفيروس كورونا لتكون بذلك حالة الوفاة الأولى بهذا الفيروس . وقالت وزارة الصحة في البلاد أن الرجل قد توفي مساء الاثنين في مشفى كان يعالج فيه بغرب الجزائر .
الرجل المتوفي هو أحد اثنين تم تشخيص اصابتهما بكورونا بعد العودة من رحلة عمرة في السعودية التي تشهد نسب كبيرة من حالات الإصابة بالمرض . أما الرجل الثاني فلا زال يتلقى العلاج وحالته في تحسن .
