Arabian Gulf: Temperatures will continue to rise in several countries over the weekend, with the continued influence of the air pressure hovering over the atmosphere of the Arabian Peninsula.

Arabia Weather - With the return of the effect of the heat dome due to the upper air pressure pattern in the region, temperatures continue to rise during the day on Thursday in many Gulf countries, in conjunction with the effect of the thermal depression centered in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula.

It is expected, God willing, that the impact of rising temperatures on Thursday, October 5, 2023 will include several parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and the Sultanate of Oman:

• The rise in temperature will be noticeable in the west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially the Tihama, Tabuk and Medina areas, as the barrier approaches 40 degrees Celsius in those areas.
• While the rise is clear in the Sultanate of Oman and the Emirates in their interior regions, exceeding the threshold of 40 degrees Celsius amid hot weather that is closer to summer than autumn.
• The influence of the upper elevation will gradually decline next Saturday, so that temperatures will return to their usual levels.

The same atmospheric pressure in the different layers of the atmosphere will also cause fog and light fog to form over many parts of the country over the next two days, as well as the coastal parts overlooking the Arabian Sea in Oman.
