Al-Zaqqaq added that the moon’s light gradually disappears as it approaches the sun’s rays, and when the angular distance between the sun and the moon is zero, the conjunction occurs, and then the crescent is born. ).

He added that when the sun and moon are on one celestial longitude, this is the conjunction, and when the sun is on a celestial longitude and latitude, this is the eclipse.

Saturday first day of Ramadan

Al-Zaaq explained that since the apparent speed of the moon far exceeds the speed of the sun, it is trying with all seriousness to catch the sun throughout the month of Sha’ban, and will catch it at exactly five and 26 minutes on Friday morning, pointing out that on the evening of that day it will stay approximately 10 minutes and its shape is flat with a deviation He walks and his horn is between the heavenly and the southern.

And he continued: “On this basis, the start of Ramadan will be astronomical on Saturday, and I promised it 30 days, meaning that it will start on Saturday and end on Sunday, and on Monday May 2 it will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.”
