He explained that “the red” refers to <strong>a red star</strong> known to the ancient Arabs as <strong>“the star of the heart of the Scorpion,”</strong> which sets with sunset in the western direction in mid-November and reappears before sunrise in the eastern direction in mid-December.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Al-Zaqaq added that during this period, cold northern winds blow, forcing people to wear heavy winter clothes.
