Arabia Weather - Sinan Khalaf - The forecast team at the Arab Regional Weather Center is monitoring quantities of cumulus thunderclouds now forming in the sky of the coastal parts of the Red Sea to the north of Rabigh, and they are moving south and may affect them during the next few hours.

In Arabian weather, we are observing the possibility of clouds extending further south to affect the city of Jeddah, but in a weaker and less severe manner in the afternoon hours, and God knows best.

Scientific reasons behind weather fluctuations

This rainy condition comes as a result of the push of a cold upper trough coming from the north through the Levant region, coinciding with an active surface response to the Red Sea depression, which produces a state of atmospheric instability, as a result of which cumulonimbus rain clouds form.
