Saudi Arabia | The Emir of Al-Baha directs the intensification of efforts to extinguish the Aqaba fire for the third day

Weather of Arabia - Al-Baha Civil Defense teams, in cooperation with security and volunteer agencies, continue their efforts to contain and extinguish the fire that broke out last Friday in the rugged mountainous areas overlooking the Al-Baha Aqaba.

Although civil defense teams controlled large parts of the fire, the wind and weeds contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. Civil defense mechanisms stationed in Aqaba participated with a number of governmental, security and volunteer agencies in fighting the fire, in addition to the participation of firefighting aircraft in extinguishing operations.

The director of civil defense in the region also directed that all regulatory procedures be followed to determine the causes of the fire.
Civil Defense teams are still working in the field to extinguish the fire that broke out in the mountains of Aqaba Al-Baha, and spread due to wind and weeds since the afternoon before yesterday, Friday.
