Arab Weather - The company implementing the Hira Cave cable car project in Saudi Arabia announced the approaching opening date of this modern means, which will facilitate access to the high mountainous site.

Cable car project reaches Hira Cave
The cable car project is part of the “Hara Cultural District”, which was opened in Saudi Arabia last year and extends over an area of more than 67 thousand square meters.
The Hiraa district is located near Jabal al-Nour, which contains the Hiraa Cave, the place where the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - sought refuge before the mission, and where he received the first revelation of the Holy Qur’an.
Visiting the Cave of Hira remained a challenge due to the height of the mountain and the roughness of the rocky road leading to it, but this year witnessed the inauguration of a paved road to facilitate access to it.
The Hira district allows visitors to view a life-size model of the Hira Cave, giving those wishing to see the cave a close-up experience, until the expected start of the cable car operation.
