Saudi Arabia: Thunderstorms to continue in many regions of the Kingdom during the last week of August

Arab Weather - The latest computer simulation results at the Arab Weather Center indicate expectations that thunderstorms will renew in many regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the last week of August, as a result of the influx of tropical moisture into the atmosphere of the Arabian Peninsula, which accompanies the advance of what is known as the imaginary tropical belt.

Areas covered by rain forecasts in the Kingdom in the coming days

The specialists at the Arab Weather Center said that it is expected that the activity of cumulonimbus clouds will be concentrated in the coming days in the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha and Makkah Al-Mukarramah, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, which will lead to significant flow of valleys and ravines and a rise in water levels in some areas.

With the last days of the month, it is likely, God willing, that the possibility of cumulonimbus cloud activity will expand in the regions of Medina, Tabuk, Hail, and Qassim, and the rain will be mostly scattered and accompanied by thunder and activity in the descending winds.

As for the rest of the regions, temperatures are expected to be warmer than usual in the Eastern and Riyadh regions, reaching the late forties Celsius. Clouds will also appear at different altitudes, which may be accompanied by scattered showers of rain in limited areas in general.
