It is expected, God willing, that the opportunity will be created in the afternoon of Thursday for cumulus clouds to multiply over the heights of eastern Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha, and eastern Makkah Al-Mukarramah, reaching the south of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, and these clouds are accompanied by medium to heavy rains that are accompanied by the occurrence of thunderstorms and the fall of grains From hail, which leads to runoff of valleys and reefs in some areas.

And gradually during the day some cumulus clouds extend to the Riyadh region administratively, including the capital and the eastern region, and are accompanied by medium rains, most of which are sometimes accompanied by the occurrence of thunder. Also, some rain clouds are not excluded for separate parts of the northern borders, Qassim and Hail.

It is also expected that thunderclouds will be accompanied by what is called severe downward winds in their areas of existence, whose gusts may reach more than 100 km/h, which also leads to the emergence of dense dusty waves, and these winds require the installation of external holdings and driving with extreme caution during their occurrence.

Chances of thunderstorms will continue on Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20, 2023 in the southwestern highlands and separate parts of the center, east and south of the Kingdom, and extend to limited parts in general from the northern regions. And the rains are of varying intensity and accompanied by the occurrence of thunderstorms, the fall of grains of hail, and activity in the downward winds that cause temporary dust storms.
