Saudi Arabia | Interior Ministry: One hundred thousand riyals fine for performing Hajj without a permit
Weather of Arabia - The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the start of implementing the penalty for violating Hajj regulations without a permit, with the penalty amounting to 10,000 Saudi riyals for anyone caught without a permit for Hajj, whether a citizen or resident.
The penalties imposed by the Ministry of Interior will begin to be implemented from Dhul-Qi’dah 25, 1445 AH until Dhul-Hijjah 14, 1445 AH. According to the statement, fines will be applied to those caught in the following places:
- The city of Mecca
- Central area
- sacred sites
- Al-Haramain Train Station in Al-Rasifa
- Security control centers
- Sorting centres
- And temporary security centers
The Ministry confirmed that it will double the fine to about 100,000 riyals in the event of a repeat violation , in addition to deporting violating residents and preventing them from entering the Kingdom for specific periods. The Ministry calls on everyone to adhere to the Hajj regulations and instructions to ensure the comfort and safety of the guests of God.
