Saudi Arabia | In the video: Dozens of monkeys attacking the municipality park in Muhayil caused terror among visitors

Weather of Arabia - Muhayil Municipal Park, located adjacent to the municipal building, was attacked yesterday morning, Sunday, by dozens of monkeys, causing a state of panic among the hikers who fled the site for fear of themselves and their children.

The media monitored the scene, where a number of passers-by stopped to watch the large gatherings of baboons, amid demands for the necessity of protecting these vital sites from the influence of these monkeys, whose numbers are increasing significantly, and to avoid the various damages that they may cause.

In previous times, monkeys inflicted injuries on truck drivers in Aqabat Shaar, after which they were taken to the hospital. It also witnessed other attacks, such as attacking a child in Al-Jabaha Mountain in Qena, where one of those present was able to save her in the last moments.

It seems that the efforts made by the competent authorities to control the proliferation of monkeys in the Asir Highlands have prompted them to escape to the plains and reproduce there.
