“A majestic and frightening scene like this, full of successive lightning bolts, can only be seen in 11 geographical locations around the world.”
The predicate identified these places as “certain parts of Congo, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.”
Jazan, the Arab capital of lightning
Al-Misnad pointed out that one of the reasons that makes Jizan the capital of Arab lightning is its high humidity , as it is an entry point for the southwestern summer marine monsoon winds.
He added: "In addition, Jizan has strong natural lifting factors, such as the presence of mountains and the meeting of opposite air currents, which makes the sky of Jizan an ideal environment for lightning and thunderbolts. And God knows best."
