Arabia Weather - The Kingdom is preparing to open “King Salman International Airport”, which will become the largest airport in the world during the next few years, as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to transform Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and tourism center.
Details of the huge project
King Salman International Airport will be built in the capital, Riyadh, and will cover an area of more than 57 square kilometers, with six runways. The private aviation building will open in 2026, and construction will continue until 2034, with all necessary assets received by 2030 to receive visitors during Expo Riyadh.
