Saudi Arabia: Cold wave deepens in the Kingdom, including Riyadh, starting tonight
Arab Weather - Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center monitored the deepening of the cold air mass towards the Kingdom tonight, which is expected to increase its impact, especially on the central regions, during the coming days, causing a significant drop in temperatures and turning the atmosphere into something like winter.
The cold wave will deepen starting tonight, including Riyadh.
The results of the computer simulation of the movement of air masses at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the cold air mass rushing from the north from the center of the European continent and affecting the countries of the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea and northern Saudi Arabia is expected to deepen its impact on the center and east of the Kingdom, Kuwait and Iraq, accompanied by another significant drop in temperatures in several cities, including Riyadh.
The same results indicate that temperatures will drop from their usual rates for this time of year by about 6-10 degrees Celsius in large areas of the Kingdom, including the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, the Eastern Province, and Riyadh. Relatively cold weather prevails during the day, but it will be cold at night in most of the aforementioned areas, and even very cold in the northern areas as they approach zero degrees Celsius, and frost will form in parts of those areas.
Chance of rain in some areas tonight and tomorrow, including Riyadh
God willing, a cold air front is expected to pass through parts of the Eastern Province and Riyadh tonight and on Thursday, including Riyadh, Dammam and neighboring cities, accompanied by rain of varying intensity and may sometimes be accompanied by thunder.
And God knows best.
