Saudi Arabia promises the World Cup fans an electronic Umrah visa to visit the holy sites

Weather of Arabia - Saudi Arabia announced its decision to facilitate the performance of Muslims coming to it and holders of the "Haya" card (for attending the World Cup football events next month in Qatar), by performing Umrah and visiting Mecca and Medina.

Assistant Director General of the General Department of Visas at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khaled Al-Shammari, said that Muslims who obtain an electronic visa can perform Umrah and visit Madinah, knowing that the visa is without fees, but there is mandatory medical insurance that can be obtained from the visa platform.

The visa will be valid from the eleventh of November, ten days before the start of the World Cup, and until the eighteenth of December, corresponding to the final day of the World Cup.

The visa will be valid for several trips, as it can be used to enter and exit several times within the limits of its validity, and it is not required that the holder entered the State of Qatar through the "Haya" card before that. The duration of stay for the visa holder is two months and ends on January 11 of the new year 2023.
