Saudi Arabia: Showers of rain in these areas on Saturday 12-28-2024

Arab Weather - The latest weather map outputs in "Arab Weather" indicate the possibility of rain showers during the day tomorrow, Saturday, in some areas of the Kingdom, including the following areas:

• Parts of northern Riyadh region
• Qassim parts
• Parts of the western kingdom
• Hafar Al-Batin area

Surface response due to the presence of a cold air mass north of the Kingdom

Weather forecasters at "Arab Weather" said that the reason for the expected rains on Saturday is, God willing, due to the rush of cold northerly winds towards the Kingdom resulting from the presence of a cold air mass over the eastern Mediterranean basin region extending to the north of the peninsula. This coincides with the presence of a warm air mass in the middle and south of the Arabian Peninsula pushing southerly to southwesterly winds, leading to the emergence of a state of atmospheric instability accompanied by the formation of cumulus clouds in some of the areas mentioned above.

God willing, the rain is expected to be local in nature and of varying intensity, and may sometimes be accompanied by thunder in some areas.
