Weather of Arabia - The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, said today, Monday, that the case infected with the new Covid-19 virus has been isolated since yesterday and is receiving full care. We have isolation rooms distributed in all regions of the Kingdom to confront Corona, and the Ministry of Health announced, today, Monday, "the emergence of laboratory results confirming the registration of the first case of new corona virus / Covid-19, for a citizen coming from Iran through the Kingdom of Bahrain."

According to the ministry, "the citizen at the Saudi port has not disclosed his presence," and that "within the framework of the precautionary measures in place, the ministry has sent one of the infection control teams to start the case."

The Ministry of Health added that «infection control teams immediately took the initiative to move to check on the citizen, and took a sample for the laboratory examination through which it was confirmed that he was infected with the virus», and assured everyone that “the case is currently isolated in the hospital, and it is being dealt with and providing the health service in accordance with the approved health procedures ».

According to the Ministry of Health, "all contacts of the infected person were counted, and samples were taken from them for examination by the National Center for Disease Prevention and Control, and all results will be announced upon completion of the examination."
