Saudi Arabia | A colder than usual air mass affects the north of the Kingdom, and cold nights with temperatures dropping to 6 degrees Celsius
Arab Weather - The latest forecasts issued by numerical computer models indicate that the high pressure system will continue to affect most regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, causing a warm air mass to reach the surface layers of the atmosphere, where temperatures are expected to be higher than their seasonal averages by about 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. While the northern regions will be affected by a less cold air mass than usual coming from the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea.
Temperatures in Riyadh exceed 30 degrees Celsius, with hot weather in most areas
The weather is expected to be relatively hot during the day in most parts of the Kingdom, with maximum temperatures rising above 30 degrees Celsius in the capital, Riyadh. At the same time, temperatures will remain moderate in the southwestern mountainous areas (summer resorts) thanks to the elevation of these areas above sea level. As for the winds, they will be variable in direction, light to moderate in most areas, while the northwesterly winds will intensify on the Red Sea and its coasts, including the city of Jeddah.
Nights will be moderate in most areas and pleasant in the southwestern highlands.
At night, temperatures will drop to moderate in the late night hours and early the next day. The weather will also be pleasant in the southwestern highlands, and tend to be cold over the high mountain peaks.
A colder than usual air mass affects the north of the Kingdom, with temperatures dropping at night
The northern regions of the Kingdom are expected to be affected by a cooler air mass coming from the eastern Mediterranean basin and the Levant region, where the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders will witness a noticeable drop in temperatures. Maximum temperatures in these regions are expected to range between 19 and 23 degrees Celsius, while temperatures drop at night to between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius, causing noticeable temperature differences between day and night, so it is recommended to wear coats in these regions.
Limited chances of rain in the southwest of the Kingdom
Some scattered cumulus clouds appear over parts of the highlands of the southwest of the Kingdom, with weak chances of local rainfall in those areas.
And God knows best.
