Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest outputs from the so-called computer simulation indicate that the Kingdom will continue to be affected by the cold wave during the hours of Thursday/Friday night, as very cold weather prevails in the northern regions, while it remains cold in the rest of the regions, and the effect of the cold wave will recede by the end of the week, as the weather returns to stability and temperatures rise while remaining colder than their averages.

A very cold night is coming to the northern regions, with the possibility of frost forming in some areas.

It is expected - God willing - during the hours of tonight (i.e. Thursday/Friday night) that the cold wave will continue to affect the Kingdom, as temperatures will drop significantly and the weather will be very cold in the northern regions, with temperatures around 3 degrees Celsius, while the temperature of the Earth's surface will approach zero degrees Celsius, coinciding with a decrease in wind speed and the sky being clear of clouds, as the weather conditions are ripe for frost to form in some areas.

In the rest of the regions, very cold weather prevails with winter-like temperatures, as the minimum temperature in the capital, Riyadh, drops to about 10 degrees Celsius, while it may be recorded in some neighborhoods a little less, with clouds appearing at different heights, and the winds are light and variable, while they are moderate in speed in the eastern region.

Slight rise in temperatures and a decline in the effects of the cold wave during the weekend

On Friday, the effect of the cold wave will decrease compared to the previous days, and the weather will stabilize with a gradual rise in temperatures, but they will remain colder than their average for this time of year, especially in the northern regions. Cold weather will prevail in the north and center of the Kingdom, while it will be moderate in the rest of the regions.

The effect of the cold wave will recede on Saturday, as temperatures continue to rise further, and the weather will be cold in the northern regions, while it will become pleasant in the central regions and the capital, Riyadh, and moderate in the rest of the regions, with maximum temperatures approaching 20 degrees Celsius in the city of Riyadh.
