According to Al-Arabiya channel correspondent, Abdul Mohsen Al-Harbi, the secret that made the Tamir and Sudair observatories the first sighting of crescent moons is due to the presence of prominent figures in Tarai, where they were officially registered after passing medical tests. He also explained that their papers were accepted by the Supervisory Committee for Crescent Observation under the supervision of the Minister of Justice, and among these seers were Abdullah Al-Khudairi from Sudair and Mutaib Al-Barghash from Tamir.
He added:
“This information confirms that Sudair has been at the forefront of the news for 40 years, starting with the work of her son, the seer Abdullah Al-Khudairi. As for Tamir, her family may remember that they fasted to make up for a day of Ramadan in the year 1360 AH, due to the delay of the representative of the emirate of the complex in arriving to Tamir, and it was not Notifying them of the arrival of Ramadan until noon on the first day of it.”
