Weather of Arabia - Colorful balloons return during the Al-Ula Sky Festival in northern Saudi Arabia, to paint the most beautiful scenes over the picturesque natural terrain, and add aesthetic elegance to the rock formations and the amazing archaeological and historical sites.

About 60 colorful balloons will fly during the Al-Ula Sky Festival 2023, to enjoy an exceptional adventure with unique landscapes, happy memories, and many new photos.

According to the festival's official website, the availability of this experience depends mainly on weather conditions such as wind speed and direction; Therefore, it is possible to cancel balloon flights at any time due to weather conditions, and the length and direction of the flight depends on the balloon officials’ evaluation of the wind movement, as each flight lasts for approximately 45 minutes, according to the weather.

The Al-Ula Sky Festival kicked off this year on April 26 and will continue until May 13, with many impressive activities and celebrations, as well as watching the most amazing natural and historical monuments during the day with helicopter or balloon tours in the Al-Ula sky. And with the onset of darkness, the time comes to watch the drone shows, the illuminated evening shows.
