Saudi Arabia | The Deputy Emir of Mecca has the honor of washing the Kaaba today
Weather of Arabia - On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, had the honor today of washing the Holy Kaaba.
Upon Prince Saud’s arrival, he washed the Kaaba from the inside using Zamzam water mixed with rose water. He rubbed the walls of the Kaaba from the inside with cloths soaked in the mixture that was prepared in advance by the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. After that, the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region performed the two rak’ahs of Tawaf.
The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the Head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Dr. Muhammad Al-Issa, and members of the Islamic diplomatic corps accredited to the Holy Kaaba, participated in washing the Holy Kaaba. The Kingdom, and the custodian of the Sacred House of God.
