Saudi Arabia: A new day of thunderstorms is expected along the southwestern highlands and Mecca during the coming hours.

Arabia Weather - The latest weather maps developed internally at the Arabia Weather Center indicate expectations that the southwestern and western highlands of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will witness extensive formations of cumulonimbus clouds during the afternoon and evening of this Sunday.

This includes, God willing, the highlands of eastern Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah Al-Mukarramah, all the way to the south of Medina, and will be accompanied by moderate to heavy rains, accompanied by thunderstorms and falling papyrus, with opportunities for valleys and reefs to flow.

It is also not unlikely that the rainy cumulus clouds that will form in the noon and afternoon hours on the highlands east of Mecca will gradually extend beyond the afternoon and evening to the Holy Capital.

The consequences of these cumulus clouds may also affect the city of Jeddah in the form of falling winds raising dust.
