موقع طقس العرب الإلكتروني-تشير آخر بيانات النماذج العددية الجوية المستلمة صباح اليوم الإثنين 23-7-2012 لدى مركز "طقس العرب" الإقليمي للأرصاد و التنبؤات الجوي، بأن مناطق شمال وشمال وسط المملكة العربية السعودية ستشهد نشاطا ملحوظاً في سُرعة الرياح السطحية اعتبارا من ظهر الثُلاثاء 24-7-2012، بحيث يتوقع ان تصل سُرعة بعض الهبّات المرافقة لها الى اكثر من 60 كم/ساعة خاصة بالتزامن مع التسخين الشمسي وقت الظهيرة و ما بعدها.
نشاط سُرعة الرياح سيعمل على إثارة الغبار و الاتربة من مناطق جنوب غرب العراق و من ثم الدفع بها نحو مناطق عدّة في السُعودية وخاصة في أجزاء من منطقة الحدود الشمالية ،و أجزاء من حائل و القصيم والأجزاء الشمالية والغربية من محافظة الرياض بحيث سيتسبب ذلك في إنخفاض مدى الرؤية الأفقية بشكل حاد في تلك المناطق.
ويتوقع ان يستمر نشاط هذه الرياح وما ينتج عنها من عواصف رملية يومي الأربعاء والخميس القادمين ولكن بحدة أقل يوم الخميس.
