Tourism in the American Monterrey.. the city of the sea and fishing

There are informative signs at every stop and guided tours too.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Pacific House Museum</strong></h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Located in the Custom House Plaza, this one-of-a-kind museum offers a collection of displays detailing local history and Native American life.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Monterey Garrison Museum</strong> </h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><img alt="" src="/sites/default/files/uploads-2017/%D9%85%D9%88%D9%86%D8%AA%D9%8A%D8%B1%D9%8A%20%205.jpg" style="width: 800px; height: 452px;" /></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Located on Corporal Ewing Road just east of Lighthouse Street, this museum introduces you to the history of the Monterey Presidency from prehistoric times all the way through to the Civil War.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Monterey Museum of Art</strong></h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> It has two locations, the first on Pacific Street, across from Colton Hall, and houses eight galleries. As for the La Mirada building, which is located on Via Mirada near Monterey Peninsula College, it includes four galleries, and displays the art of the Mexican era in Monterrey.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Sea lions at the docks</strong> </h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><img alt="" src="/sites/default/files/uploads-2017/%D9%85%D9%88%D9%86%D8%AA%D9%8A%D8%B1%D9%8A%20%206.jpg" style="width: 800px; height: 450px;" /></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> There are two piers and a marina, all of which provide an excellent view of sea lions, but the Fisherman&#39;s Wharf generally has the largest group of sea lions that people can easily access, especially to the east of the pier, which also contains a small fishing depot.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Maritime History Museum</strong></h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Another museum is located in the Custom House Plaza, but it provides its visitors with a group of exhibitions that revolve around the history of Monterey as a port, the history of sea fishing and commercial fishing, and perhaps the most important station in this museum is the baleen dock in front of the old whale station.</p>
