موقع  ArabiaWeather.com- سنان خلف – تسببت موجة الأمطار الغزيرة التي ضربت الأراضي اليمنية خلال الـ 48 ساعة الماضية بمصرع 8 أشخاص على الأقل في آخر حصيلة رسمية أعلنتها الحُكومة.

 

وكانت الهطولات المطرية الغزيرة قد تركزت يوم الثُلاثاء في مُحافظة الحويث حيثُ تلبدت السماء بكميات كبيرة من السُحب تبعاها تساقُط الأمطار بغزارة شديدة الأمر الذي أدى إلى وفاة 8  أشخاص بينهُم فتاتان، كما وتسببت الأمطار الغزيرة التي هطلت على المنطقة بحدوث سيول جارفة.

 

وأفادت السُلطات المحلية بأن السيول قد أدت لتدمير العديد من الطُرق وإغلاقها بشكل كامل، وداهمت السيول العديد من منازل المواطنين مٌتسببة بتدميرها.

 

يُذكر أن السُلطات الرسمية كانت قد أعلنت خلال الشهر الماضي عن وفاة أكثر من خمسين شخصاً لقوا حتفهُم جراء الأمطار الغزيرة والسيول.

 

وتتعرض اليمن خلال فصل الصيف من كُل عام لموجات من الأمطار الرعدية الغزيرة مُحدثة لموجات من السيول والفيضانات .
