`Energy` confirms the adequacy of the stock of oil derivatives and the generating capacity
<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><span style="line-height: 1.6em;">ArabiaWeather.com- The media spokesman for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Haider Al-Qammaz, confirmed that the generating capacity of the electric power plants covers all the required loads around the clock, in addition to the sufficient stock of oil derivatives in the Kingdom.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">And he indicated that the ministry has taken all necessary measures in preparation for the expected weather conditions during the coming days, by opening an operations room in the ministry to coordinate with the concerned energy sector companies to work around the clock to provide oil derivatives and domestic gas to citizens and ensure the continuity of electricity supply to subscribers throughout the Kingdom.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">Al-Qmaz explained in a press statement that the technical teams in the ministry conduct field inspections around the clock at fuel stations and gas depots to ensure their readiness and overcome the obstacles they face, according to Petra.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">He appealed to citizens to rationalize the consumption of electricity and oil derivatives, by turning off unused household rooms, and setting the temperature of heating devices at 25 degrees. And he warned of cases in which "some" resort to illegally extracting electricity, which raises loads in population centers, and thus power outages as a result of the loads exceeding the energy of the low-voltage network.</span></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span style="line-height: 1.6em;">He explained that the energy sector is witnessing procedures and activities to work to confront the cold wave and to enhance the capabilities of the electrical system to absorb its repercussions, especially if snow falls.</span></p>
