Philippines | Hundreds of people displaced by floods in Cebu Province
Weather of Arabia - More than 800 people have been displaced due to floods in Cebu Province, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines, after heavy rains on Sunday 10/4/2020 .
Rivers destroyed their banks and inundated parts of Cebu City, with 329 people from 78 families evacuated from their homes by disaster management authorities .
More than 400 people were evacuated in Northeast Cebu, and more than 100 people in Parangay, located in the northwestern part of Cebu City, 9 homes were completely destroyed.
Floods also hit Mandaue after the Butuanon River overflowed, affecting at least 400 families .
Media reported that floodwaters in Cebu and Mandaue had begun to recede late on Sunday 10/4/2020, but many affected families were still temporarily staying in schools .
