Arab Weather - Although the summer season has ended meteorologically in the northern hemisphere, during which several parts of the European continent witnessed higher temperatures than usual, many European countries are still experiencing hotter than usual weather due to the continued control of the heat dome over a large part of the continent at the beginning of September.

On the first day of September, global monitoring stations recorded new record temperatures in many European countries. According to global weather model forecasts, the hot weather is expected to continue in several parts of the European continent, especially the southern parts, in the first days of September, with expected temperatures that may exceed 35 degrees Celsius in some areas.

September 1st breaks temperature records

The experts at Arab Weather said that the first day of September witnessed breaking records in high temperatures across Central Europe, as dozens of stations recorded records in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary, while temperatures exceeded 35 degrees Celsius for the first time in September in some countries such as Slovenia. A very hot day was also recorded in the Benelux countries and western Germany, with temperatures around 28 degrees Celsius, as is the case in southern England. Maximum temperatures in the Balkan Peninsula reached the mid-thirties, and temperatures in central Italy reached around 38 degrees Celsius.

Hot weather continues in the first week of September

The latest weather maps indicate that this type of weather system will continue during the first week of September, as hot masses will continue to spread across several parts of Europe, with the heat dome continuing to expand from North Africa towards Europe, with hot and stifling weather expected throughout the week in southern, western and central Europe.

According to current data, maximum temperatures are expected to reach the late 30s in Italy and the Balkans, while temperatures in France, Benelux, Germany and the UK are expected to approach the 30s by the end of next week, with even higher temperatures recorded in Italy, the Balkan Peninsula and central Europe.
