• It leads to an increase in the periods of sunshine and an increase in temperature and humidity together.

And the control of this thermal dome over the region comes to the distribution of air systems in the northern hemisphere, where it is expected that the upper depressions associated with the cooler air will flow towards central Europe and reach the center of the Mediterranean Sea, and this necessarily leads to an intensification of the upper air elevation above Northern Arabia and the Levant.

Significant changes in the atmosphere with the dome of heat over Jordan

• Significant rise in temperatures, starting from Saturday, to become more than 8 degrees Celsius higher than usual rates for this time of the year.
• The weather turns hot in all regions of the Kingdom, and it is even very hot for some time in the noon and afternoon hours, when temperatures exceed 40 degrees Celsius in some cities, including the neighborhoods of the capital, Amman.
• The weather is very hot most of the day in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, and temperatures in some of those areas exceed the mid-forties.
