Electricity: Historic loads within 10 days due to the return to schools and the heat wave
ArabiaWeather.com- The Saudi Electricity Company expected that the next ten days would witness record loads; Because of the heat wave sweeping the Kingdom in conjunction with the return to schools.
The company stated, through its account on Twitter, that the heat wave sweeping the region with the return of schools will mainly contribute to recording the historic pregnancy.
And she confirmed that she had made all preparations to accommodate the extra loads by working around the clock, according to Sabq newspaper.
It is noteworthy that the control center of the electrical system in the Kingdom recorded, on Sunday 5 Dhu al-Qi`dah 1435 AH, unprecedented historical loads. Electricity loads jumped to 56,500 megawatts, an increase of 7.7 percent over the peak loads recorded in the summer of 2013.
