The World Conference on Renewable Energy will be held at the University of Jordan in early April

ArabiaWeather.com- Khitam Amer- The University of Jordan, in cooperation with a number of Jordanian universities, research centers and national institutions, will hold its Fifth International Conference on Renewable Energy in Desert Regions during the period from 4/4 to 4/6 of this year under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Hamzah bin ELHussein.

According to the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference and Professor of Renewable Energy at the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh, the conference comes based on the importance of renewable energy in Jordan and the continuous increase in it specifically in recent years. The conference will focus on several topics, the most important of which are: applications of renewable energy in desert areas, investment in alternative energy and instructions and regulations related to renewable energy.

This year's conference is distinguished by its discussion of scientific papers published for the first time and distributed over several axes, including energy sources, energy policies, renewable energy, gridded renewable energy systems, energy management, energy economics, sustainable policies, climate change, renewable sources and applications of solar energy technology, green buildings and other energy-related topics.
