Tourism recovery in the Jordanian city of Petra recorded the highest number of visitors since the beginning of the Corona pandemic

After the Jordanian government announced the opening of the sectors at the beginning of last month, the Pink City recorded during the month of September an increase in the number of foreign, Arab and Jordanian visitors.

The number of visitors to the Pink City for the month of September reached 23,751 visitors of all nationalities, to be the highest since the beginning of the pandemic in March of last year, including 12,637 foreign visitors, 8,161 Jordanian visitors, and 2,946 Arab visitors, compared to 16,381 visitors for the same period last year, including 219. Only foreign visitors and 16,381 Jordanians, and the statistics did not record any visit from Arab nationalities during the same month last year.
