و قد وصل ارتفاع الغازات المنبعثةالى 3500 متر حسب مشاهدات من الطائرات القريبة منه.

 

هذا الامر ترتب عليه رفع درجة الخطر الى الدرجة الثالثة (Siaga) من قبل السلطات الاندونيسية, حيث لاحظ خبراء البراكين زيادة النشاط البركاني و تسجيل بعض الهزات منذ الرابع و العشرين من حزيران المنصرم.

 

و نصح - المركز الجيولوجي و البركاني للحد من المخاطر في اندونيسيا – السكان المحليين بعدم الاقتراب من البركان في دائرة نصف قطرها 3كم من البركان.
