Regarding the birth of the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah , the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah appears immediately after the conjunction occurs at exactly 2:39 pm local Cairo time on Thursday, the 29th of the month of Dhu al-Qi’dah, 1445 AH, corresponding to June 6, 2024 AD.

The new crescent remains visible in the sky of Mecca for 11 minutes, and in Cairo for 18 minutes after sunset on that day (sighting day).

As for the beginning of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, the blessed crescent will remain visible after sunset on that day for periods ranging between 1 and 28 minutes in Arab and Islamic capitals and cities, with the exception of Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, where the moon sets 9 and 14 minutes before sunset, respectively.

When will the month of Dhu al-Hijjah be born?
