يأتي تجدّد هطول الثلوج هذه الليلة نتيجة تشكل منخفض جوي جديد ناجم عن استمرار تدفق الرياح القطبية المنشأ نحو شرق المتوسط ، هذا وسيستمر هطول الثلوج هذه الليلة ويكون متراكماً ، كما يتوقع أن يستمر بشكل متقطّع غداً الجمعة خاصةً صباحاً وقبل الظهر .
