ArabiaWeather.com - The Andes mountain range is considered the longest mountain range in the world, as it extends for a distance of more than 7,000 km along the western coast of the South American continent, and extends in width at an average distance of 400 km. It is located in the territories of seven countries: Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia, in addition to Peru and Venezuela. It contains more than 50 active volcanoes in the world, perhaps the most prominent of which is the Ojos del Salado volcano on the border between Chile and Argentina, at an altitude of approximately 6,900 meters above sea level.

Because of its wide longitudinal extension, the climate in the Andes varies from relatively warm and humid in the north to cold and dry in the middle, then snowy and very cold in the south.

The Andes Mountains embrace dozens of world cities, famous for their height, in a landscape that captures hearts and embodies the greatness of the Creator. Including the capitals of five of the previous countries except Argentina and Venezuela. Perhaps the most prominent of these capitals is Santiago, the capital of Chile, Quito, the capital of Ecuador, and La Paz, the capital of Bolivia.
