ArabiaWeather.com - Sinan Khalaf - overlooks the eastern side of the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, about 4 kilometers away, a geographical place that was destined to be pivotal in the history of all mankind, where Jabal Al-Nour is located at an altitude of 634 meters, in which the Hira Cave is located. And it is the cave in which the Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to seclude himself, before the Qur’an was revealed to him by means of Gabriel, peace be upon him.
And the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, would stay away from Mecca and its people because they worship idols, and he would go to Jabal al-Nour and Hira Cave, and he would stay there for long days, thinking about who created this world.
And on a day in the month of Ramadan, when the age of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was 40 years old, God sent down the Angel Gabriel to him, and he said to the Messenger: Read, and he answered him: “I am not a reader.” Gabriel repeated the question to him, and the Messenger answered every time. with "what am I reading".
And the last time, Gabriel, peace be upon him, said, "Read in the name of your Lord who created. He created man from a clot. Read, and your Lord is the Most Generous. Who taught by the pen. He taught man what he did not know," so that these blessed verses are the first to be revealed from the Noble Qur’an to our master Muhammad. Peace be upon him.
And the Cave of Hira is a gap at the top of Jabal Al-Nour that Muslims now visit from all parts of the earth. .
