video | Sultan Al Neyadi in a morning tour from space over the Arabian Peninsula showing several Arab cities
Weather of Arabia - Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi shared a stunning video of the Arabian Peninsula from the International Space Station, showing several cities in the Gulf countries.
Al-Neyadi posted the video on his Twitter account, in which he appears inside the capsule, which he said has 7 windows, and attached it to a tweet in which he said: "From Mesopotamia to the beloved Muscat... I dedicate to you this morning tour over the Arabian Peninsula from space."
Al-Neyadi said in the video: "We are now in the morning, and we are currently roaming over the Arabian Peninsula, and there is nothing more beautiful than a view of the homeland at the beginning of the day," as he began to open the windows in order to photograph the view of the Gulf countries from space.
And Al-Niyadi brought the camera close to show Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, then Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the Emirates, focusing on the capital, Abu Dhabi, passing through Dubai.
He continued, "In a few moments, we floated around the Arabian Peninsula in a few minutes, because the station rotates at a speed of 27,000 kilometers per hour, which is a very great speed."
At the end of the video, he added: "I wanted to share with you this moment, a look at the homeland, and contemplation of its terrain and stunning scenery."
It is noteworthy that Sultan Al Neyadi arrived on March 3, accompanied by the Crew-6 mission team, to the International Space Station aboard the SpaceX Dragon Endeavor, to embark on the longest space mission in the history of the Arabs, which extends for six months.
Since his arrival, Al-Neyadi has succeeded, by sharing part of his diaries in space, through his Twitter account, in attracting the interest of millions of Arabs around the world to pay attention to this important sector.
