Arab Weather - At the height of the summer season in the months of July and August, Alexandria Governorate witnesses great crowding on its beaches, as different groups flock daily to enjoy the charming beaches. Day trips and weekly vacations are organized to Alexandria, as people seek relief from the heat waves sweeping the country, with temperatures reaching 34 degrees Celsius in the day and 24 degrees Celsius at night. The beaches witnessed a large turnout with the activity of water games and marine activities, and rescue means such as the “Seki Jet” were present to ensure the safety of vacationers in emergency situations such as drowning.

Announcing the closure of some beaches and activating electronic reservations in Alexandria during the summer season
The Central Administration for Tourism and Resorts in Alexandria announced the closure of about 5 beaches due to their full occupancy rate. A 100% occupancy rate was recorded on the general beaches of Bahri Al-Mumayaz and Mandara, and the beaches of Beau Rivage, Iskandar and Al-Silsilah. Visitors were directed to beaches whose occupancy rate still allows accepting more visitors.
The Central Administration of Tourism and Summer Resorts in Alexandria also announced the activation of electronic reservations for its beaches through its official website www.catr.gov.eg, allowing visitors to reserve their seats in the first rows directly on the sea upon prior reservation, with the condition of arriving at the beach before ten in the morning.
