A blazing start to the weather with the beginning of August in the Gulf countries, with record temperatures recorded
Weather of Arabia - The month of August this year began in the Gulf countries with a heat wave, as a result of the increasing effect of the atmospheric elevation in the upper layers of the atmosphere and the accompanying thermal dome on the areas adjacent to the Arabian Gulf basin, in conjunction with the deepening of the thermal surface depressions.
This led to a rise in temperatures to record levels, as the Mesaimeer Observatory recorded on Tuesday, August 1 in the State of Qatar, about 49 degrees Celsius, which is the record for the highest temperature recorded in the history of the country's climate records in the years 2021 and 2022.
Bahrain Airport also recorded 45.1°C, separating it by only 0.5°C from the highest record recorded in August.
While Kuwait recorded approximately 50.2 degrees Celsius, and Al-Ahsa in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recorded 49.7 degrees Celsius.
As for the regional level, on Tuesday, August 1, Basra recorded approximately 52 degrees Celsius, which is one of the highest temperatures recorded on the planet, and the temperature reached 50.4 degrees Celsius in Iran during the same day.
