Etna volcano begins a new round of eruption

ArabiaWeather.com – Sinan Khalaf – Mount Etna, located to the east of the island of Sicily, has started a new round of eruption, releasing lava and fumes, in an event that is not new to this mountain, which is considered the most active volcanic mountain around the world.

The mountain was known to the Arabs as Jabal al-Nar, and it is considered one of the largest and most active volcanoes on the globe. The volcano is located on the eastern coast of Sicily, and its height is approximately 3326 meters above sea level.

It should be noted that the continuous renewal and activity of the Mount Etna volcano worked on the fertility of the soil and the expansion of the areas surrounding and adjacent to the volcano, which the residents exploit for agricultural work.
