New Maadi Municipality evacuates five families due to strong winds

Weather of Arabia - The new municipality of Maadi, this evening, evacuated five families from the Pakistani community in the region of Damia in the district of Deir Alla to the Damia Elementary Mixed School as a result of the damage to their tents in which they live because of the strong winds that are exposed to the region.

Mayor Fendi Al-Yassijin said that after receiving contact with the municipality's operations room about the situation of these families and their risk of falling trees, as their tents have been fixed with these trees, the municipality cadres, after coordination with the director of the Deir Alla district and the director of Deir Ula’s education, transported them directly to the school in order to preserve their and their children's safety As they number about 25 people and were insured until things return to normal.

He added that the municipality cadres also removed more than 20 trees that fell on the main street along it from the Maadi area until the end of the municipality’s powers, calling on drivers to take caution and caution that the region is exposed to unprecedented strong winds.
